On Monday, a team from the Logistics Committee of Asharqia Chamber visited the King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, during which they met with the General Manager of the port Engineer Walid bin Fares Al Fares.
The delegation was chaired by a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber and the Chairman of the Committee, Bandar Bin Rafi Al-Jabri.
The delegation has raised a number of topics to support and develop the logistics sector in the port of Dammam, as this is of urgent economic importance.
This visit comes within the activities of the logistics committee in Asharqia Chamber as part of its plan for the current year 2018.
The Committee looks forward to the development of the sector through communication with various governmental and private bodies to reach common points of action reflected on the performance of the sector and activities under it, most notably: customs clearance, maritime and land transport, etc.
